Advisory & Capacity Building
The EFSE Fund’s separately funded Capacity Building and Advisory services, structured under the EFSE Development Facility, enable the Fund to build upon EFSE’s meaningful impact, expanding its footprint across three dimensions: markets, financial institutions and businesses. Through the EFSE Development Facility, the Fund is able to assist businesses in their development, aid entrepreneurs to grow, and expand access to financial services.
How do we achieve this?
We provide for comprehensive consultancy services, specialized training programs, knowledge-sharing events, and research to promote impactful business development in the EFSE region. Through long-term support to the Fund’s partners, we accompany partner financial institutions to expand their services and increase their outreach. We work with sector institutions – among others regulators, sector associations, and accelerators – to develop the financial sector, enable growth, and enhance the Fund’s impact.
How our Advisory and Capacity Building works
EFSE is a leader in the provision of advisory and capacity building for its investees, sectoral institutions, and end-clients.
Our projects are developed based on the needs of partners and the sectors in which they work.
Project development and implementation are conducted in collaboration with our partners, who share ownership and a portion of the cost for the work supporting their development and growth.
The central goal of each project is to advance the sustainable development of the partner businesses and reinforce its service to end-clients.
